The next step in your career starts here.

Ready to advance your artistic career? We have what you need to get started! On this page, you will find helpful information on a range of topics: how to build a CV and artist bio, copyright information, how to apply for grants, and more. Workshops tailored to artistic needs are uploaded twice a month. As a member of the Portal, you get first registration for these events. Looking for jobs or calls for submissions? Check out the “What’s new” section!

The information provided here is part of IAF’s continued commitment to providing resources, support services, and professional development to Inuit artists. As such, this Portal provides artists with access to critical information on a range of topics; how to build a CV, copyright legislation, compiling portfolios, seeking out grants and residencies, and providing funding.

In the process of creating programs and workshops, the IAF consults stakeholders extensively to ensure that the programs it creates and delivers resonate with what artists want for their careers and are informed by a long-term view of impact.

What's new

When new articles, workshops, or videos get added to DQAP, our What’s New Blog Roll will feature them here for greater visibility. A key feature of this blog is the Rolling Opportunities Round Up. We get a lot of inquiries coming through our inbox with opportunities for Inuit artists. To make sure they’re accessible to everyone, we round opportunities up in biweekly posts.
