Biography

Based between Iqaluit, NU and Ottawa ON, actress Anna Lambe made her screen debut in 2019 with the release of Miranda de Pencier’s "The Grizzlies" (2019), playing the role of Spring. Recalling that she almost didn’t attend the audition, she cites that she was encouraged by her former drama teacher to audition for the role that has since gained her widespread notoriety. Based on a real-life lacrosse team from Kugluktuk, NU, the film shot in Lambe’s hometown of Iqaluit also earned the young star a Canadian Screen Awards nomination for Best Supporting Actress [1].

Following her "Grizzlies" success, she soon signed onto CBC’s "The Trickster", a television series based off of Eden Robinson’s acclaimed novel Son of a Trickster. With the series premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in the Fall of 2020, Lambe appeared in the role of Sarah throughout the six episode series shot in North Bay, ON [2].

Outside of her onscreen career, Lambe is a student at the University of Ottawa studying International Development and Globalization.
