Charlene Rumbolt

Biography

Charlene Rumbolt is an artist from Mary's Harbour, NL. She has been drawn to art making since childhood, and has worked in graphic design. A multimedia artist, Rumbolt explores fibre art, oil painting, printmaking, as well as engages with her Inuit heritage in traditional beadwork and sealskin. Rumbolt's work is influenced by the people around her, and her connection to the land. Her work has been exhibited in many festivals and exhibitions, including ‘Spirit of Labrador – A Celebration of Indigenous Arts’ in Wabush, NL, and the ‘Northern Lights Festival’ in Ottawa, ON.
